Recycled Art Journal Creations: Kids Class (Wednesday, July 14th @ 11am)
I love creating layouts in my journal with everyday objects and things that you can find laying around your house!!! In this class, we will use our art journals to explore mixed media techniques and exercises that make use of recycled materials, junk mail, magazine scraps, cardboard pieces, bubble wrap to add texture and other bits from found objects. Doesn't that sound like fun??? This class is geared towards inspiring you to create with minimal supplies needed!
General supplies needed for class: art journal or sketchbook, watercolors or acrylic paints (either will work), paint brushes (I recommend getting a round brush, and a flat brush), pencil, bleed proof pen or Sharpie pen, white gel pen, white acrylic paint, black acrylic paint, recycled materials including junk mail, texture making pieces such as bubble wrap, paper towel rolls, cardboard and more!
(Photo provided only serves as an example of what we might do in this class. Projects are subject to change.)
All classes will be held virtually via Zoom. Once class has been paid for, the zoom link will be emailed to the email address provided at checkout.
Classes will be approximately an hour, but sometimes we do go over. I look forward to creating art with you this summer!!!
